Create a 15-second photorealistic live-action comedy video, horizontal 16:9, following the attached pencil storyboard. Use the storyboard for composition, character placement and timing. Render everything as real camera footage with natural skin, clothing and supermarket details.
Three strangers are shopping independently. They have never met. The young man is not the woman’s boyfriend, and the elderly woman is not accompanying either of them. Establish this visually through separate positions, separate shopping activities and independent attention.
CHARACTERS
A beautiful blonde woman in her late twenties, long loose hair, a naturally curvy figure, fitted white sleeveless top, short blue denim shorts and brown cowboy boots. She holds an open wallet at the checkout.
A brown-haired man around thirty, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. He is waiting behind her, absorbed in a smartphone held in both hands.
An elderly woman with curly gray hair and glasses, wearing a floral house robe tied at the waist. She is another customer, carrying her own shopping basket.
Maintain the same faces, bodies, hairstyles, clothing and props throughout.
LOCATION AND CAMERA
An ordinary American convenience store: checkout counter, shelves, glass-door refrigerators and a glass entrance. Even, slightly cool ceiling lighting, natural colors and readable facial expressions. Calm camera with subtle handheld movement. Six shots connected by five clean hard cuts. The comedy comes from expressions and editing.
0.0–2.3 SECONDS — THREE SEPARATE CUSTOMERS
Medium-wide view of the checkout. The woman stands at the counter on the right, looking into her wallet. The man is stationary one place behind her, slightly left, looking down at his phone. The elderly woman waits farther back with her own basket, looking around the store.
Everyone is occupied independently. Their feet remain planted. Their spacing and different orientations clearly establish a queue of strangers.
2.3–3.7 SECONDS — THE SMALL GESTURE
Hard cut to the lower, tighter storyboard angle. The man’s back fills the left foreground, the woman stands on the right in three-quarter rear view, and grandma is visible deeper between them.
Grandma taps thedenim shorts to get her attention, then withdraws her hand. The clothing stays in place. The man continues using his phone with both hands.
3.7–9.3 SECONDS — THE MISUNDERSTANDING
Hard cut to the young woman and man. Reacting to the small movement of her clothing, she turns her head with a questioning expression. Grandma is outside this composition, so the woman notices only the distracted man beside her and assumes he wanted her attention.
She studies him, gradually smiles, then leans closer and gives him one quick kiss on the cheek at approximately 9.1 seconds. He remains absorbed in his phone until the kiss surprises him. She studies his face for a moment. Her curious expression gradually becomes a small, playful smile.
He continues reading his phone, eyes lowered, both hands occupied. Her interest is entirely one-sided at this point.
She turns toward him and leans closer. At approximately 9.1 seconds, she gives him one quick kiss on the cheek. Keep the glance, changing expression, approach and kiss within this continuous shot.
9.3–11.0 SECONDS — HIS SURPRISE
Hard cut closer to the man immediately after the kiss. His eyes widen and his mouth opens in astonishment. He lifts his gaze toward her, keeping the phone in one hand. She gives him a brief smile and turns toward the exit.
His reaction should clearly read as an unexpected encounter with a stranger.
11.0–13.2 SECONDS — SHE LEAVES ALONE
Hard cut to a wide view from outside, looking into the store through the glass entrance. The woman exits by herself and walks toward screen right.
The man remains inside near the checkout, watching her leave. Grandma stays farther behind with her shopping basket.
13.2–15.0 SECONDS — FINAL REACTIONS
Hard cut back inside to a medium shot of the man and grandma, with space between them. He lightly touches his kissed cheek, still bewildered, then develops a disbelieving smile.
Grandma raises her eyebrows and looks toward the exit with an amused expression. They briefly exchange a baffled glance as two strangers reacting to the same unexpected event.
AUDIO
Natural supermarket ambience: refrigerator hum, faint checkout sounds, subtle clothing movement, footsteps and the man’s small surprised intake of breath. Let the visual reactions carry the joke.
