About BestPrompts
BestPrompts is a searchable library of AI video prompts, built by one person who uses them: Ray — a YouTuber, content creator and photographer. Every prompt here was posted publicly on X, is reproduced as it was written, and is credited to the person who wrote it.
What you can do here
Search the library for original AI video prompts, explore examples by model and subject, and compare the full prompt text with its source video. Each entry credits its creator and links to the original post.
With Video to Prompt, upload a short reference video to get a structured scene breakdown and editable English and Chinese text prompts for your next AI video project. The tool produces text prompts; you choose which AI model to use them with.
Google sign-in identifies your account, applies your daily analysis allowance and lets you access your own task results. We request basic Google profile information for these account features. Who is behind this
Ray makes videos and photographs. While working on his own AI video projects he kept running into the same problem: the prompts that actually produced a good clip were scattered across X replies, screenshots and notes, and there was no way to search them.
So he started collecting the ones that worked — and then built this site so the collection is searchable instead of sitting in a folder. The site is run by the same person who uses it, not by a content farm.
Where the prompts come from
Every prompt on this site was published publicly on X. We copy the text exactly: no edits, no paraphrasing and no translation. Each page names the creator, links to their profile and links to the original post, so the source is always one click away.
We only collect public posts. Nothing comes from private accounts, paid groups or behind a login, and we do not publish NSFW content.
What we add ourselves
The model, the clip length, the aspect ratio, the written description and the structured breakdown — subject, action, scene, camera, lighting, colour, audio — are produced by us from the prompt text and from the video itself. If any of it is wrong for a specific page, tell us and we will correct it as readily as we would remove it.
Library videos play directly from X's original media addresses. If the original video becomes unavailable, the entry keeps its prompt and source link with a placeholder. Removing an entry removes it from our library; the original post and media on X remain under their creator's and X's control. See removal requests.
What we do not do
- No invented ratings, view counts or download numbers.
- No edited or translated prompt text — the original wording is the point.
- No NSFW material, and no content from private or paid sources.
